I’m presenting on two topics this year. My first topic on Augmented Reality is a look into what the future of Augmented reality could hold in the next 5-10 years. This presentation was one of the most difficult to write because it kept being made obsolete or old news the longer I worked on it. Augmented Reality technology is moving forward at a tremendous pace and hopefully I will have some new ideas to show for the fields of design and development within Engineering when the presentation day arrives.

The presenter will discuss the potential future of augmented reality using 3D models and how it can help support design, manufacturing, operations, and service processes in the office and in the field. This session is a contemplation about the future of augmented reality and not directly associated with any existing software product. |
My second presentation is on the new functionality in Creo Parametric 3.0. This will be more of a game show where the audience answers questions about Creo Parametric 3.0 and gets some tips and tricks along the way. Everyone wins by taking away useful information about the tool, and some may walk away with a bit more.

In game show fashion attendees will answer questions while learning about tips, tricks, and what’s new in PTC Creo Parametric 3.0. Topics covered will include general usability down to new advanced features. Attendees will be challenged to test their knowledge to see if they have what it takes to call themselves a PTC Creo Engineer. |
